How to Determine Your Ring Size
Option 1: Visit a Professional Jeweler
For the most accurate measurement, we recommend visiting a local professional jeweler.
A jeweler can measure your finger using professional ring-sizing tools and help determine the appropriate fit for your preferred ring style.
This is especially recommended when purchasing an engagement ring or made-to-order jewelry.
Option 2: Measure a Ring You Already Own
If you have a ring that fits comfortably on the intended finger:
- Select a ring that fits the correct finger.
- Measure its inside diameter in millimeters using a precise measuring tool.
- Compare that measurement with our US ring size chart.
- If your measurement falls between sizes, consult a professional jeweler before ordering.
For accuracy, measure the inside opening of the ring without including the metal band.
Helpful Ring Sizing Tips
Measure the Correct Finger
Ring sizes can vary between fingers and even between your left and right hands.
Consider the Time of Day
Finger size can fluctuate due to temperature, activity, and temporary swelling. Measurements taken when your hands are at a comfortable, normal temperature are generally more representative.
Consider the Width of Your Ring
Wider bands may fit more snugly than narrow bands. A professional jeweler can help determine whether a sizing adjustment is appropriate.
Avoid Guessing
For expensive or made-to-order jewelry, professional sizing is strongly recommended rather than estimating your size using string or paper.
What If My Ring Doesn’t Fit?
Not all rings can be resized.
Resizing options depend on the metal, ring design, setting, and placement of gemstones.
Certain styles, including eternity bands and rings with intricate gemstone settings, may have limited resizing options.
Because many engagement rings are made to order, we encourage customers to confirm their ring size before completing a purchase.
Please review our Return & Refund Policy for information regarding personalized and made-to-order merchandise.
