Our story

A Note From Our Founder

I wasn’t born into the jewelry industry. I found my way to it in my late thirties, while raising three teenagers, rediscovering my ambitions, and finding the courage to begin a new chapter.

Jewelry had always been something I loved. But transforming that passion into a business meant something more to me. I wanted to build something meaningful, something rooted in knowledge, integrity, and a genuine appreciation for the stories behind every piece.

That commitment led me to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the institution behind the internationally recognized 4Cs of diamond quality. I believe that when someone entrusts you with a purchase as personal and significant as fine jewelry, enthusiasm alone is not enough. They deserve transparency, education, and someone who genuinely understands what they are investing in.

I completed GIA’s Diamonds & Diamond Grading course and successfully passed my final examination. My education continues as I work toward the Graduate Diamonds diploma, with plans to attend the Diamond Grading Lab in London in 2027.

To me, education is not simply a credential. It is a responsibility. The more I learn, the more confidently I can guide you, answer your questions, and help you recognize the beauty and value of what you choose.

The Meaning Behind Lorelaii

November 22 was never a random date for our debut. The numbers 11 and 22 have always held a special place in my heart. In numerology, they are often associated with intuition, purpose, and transforming dreams into reality.

For me, 11/22 represents the courage to believe in something before the rest of the world can see it. It represents trusting your vision enough to bring it to life.

That is the spirit behind Lorelaii Atelier.

Our collections celebrate engagement rings, wedding bands, colored gemstones, and romantic, vintage-inspired designs with a modern sensibility. Yet I believe the experience of choosing fine jewelry should be just as memorable as the piece itself.

I want to understand your vision, respect your budget, answer your questions, and help you discover what feels right for you. Whether you arrive knowing exactly what you want or simply knowing how you want something to make you feel, my intention is to make the experience personal, thoughtful, and entirely yours.

The Story Behind Aura

Some of the most meaningful jewelry has nothing to do with an engagement.

The inspiration for our Aura Collection came from a place very close to my heart. I thought of my sister, and of the countless women who have found themselves beginning again. Women navigating divorce, changing careers, rebuilding their confidence, or simply finding the courage to pursue a life they once only imagined.

I understand what it means to start over. To believe in yourself even when the path ahead is uncertain. To take a chance on a dream without knowing exactly where it will lead.

Aura was born from the belief that those moments deserve to be celebrated, too.

You do not need to wait for a proposal, an anniversary, or someone else’s permission to wear something extraordinary.

Perhaps your ring represents a personal milestone, a promise to yourself, a chapter you survived, or a dream you finally decided to pursue.
